LPM Special Edition Teams are only produced once or twice a year as either a limited run of a single significant team or as a single one off team set in which all proceeds are donated to a charity of LPM choice. These special teams come in a hollogrammed LPM Limited Edition Box along with a numbered and hollogrammed certificate.

To date just two sets have been produced. In 2005 a Limited Edition run of 6 individual team sets celebrating England's 1966 World Cup Victory was made with specially printed disks and in 2006 a one off team was made for the UNICEF / Soccer Aid charity and was auctioned via the main LPM web site. Massive bids were offered for this team and due to the success of it, this it is now without doubt that more single teams will made for charitable organisations on an ongoing yearly basis.

SE Limited Edition Teams (other than the charity teams) will seldom ever be sold in the shop as they are made in such small numbers and so are mostly offered by invite to those who have bought from LPM on a regular basis throughout the previous year.

The Little Plastic Men White Box Teams are produced to a very high standard and have high detailed printed badges, extra players and matching rodded and kicking goalkeepers are also included. Some team sets, depending on the kit, also have numbers and extra printed detail.

The teams come in the Limited Edition White Box with LE Hologram sticker and are made in quite low numbers, although each team is not restricted to a maximum. Approximately ten different kits are produced each year and sold via the web site.

The Black Box Teams are the standard Little Plastic Men Teams. Produced in ranges and made for a varying amount of time. Each team has a reference number which runs concurrently from range to range and the first set numbered 1-20 was produced during 2005 and mainly covered English premiership clubs plus some European teams. Teams 21-40 cover the African Nations Cup teams 2006 and are still in production but will soon be deleted.

A special catalog sheet is produced and given away with each team sold and not available separately. Previous catalogue sheets from deleted ranges are available for viewing in the More Information section.
